We will be fishing for rainbow trout and bull trout and reconnecting with the eastern part of our Syilx Territory. \nFishery will be hosted at the mouth of the Lardeau River at the Trout Lake Recreation Site near Kaslo BC. DESCRIPTION:Spirit of Syilx Youth Unity Run\nUNITY RUN: SUICIDE AND VIOLENCE AWARENESS\nCOME OUT AND FEEL THE SPIRIT OF THE LAND\, SUN\, WIND\, RAIN\, TMIX AND EACH OTHER!\nWe run for our people and our land\nJune 1 – 4\, 2023\nWe will run from the Syilx Nation Indian Residential School Monument\, where we ended\, in snpintktn (Penticton) to\ncaʔm (Christina Lake). Opening Circle will be at 1pm on June 1\, 2023. \nIgnite your spirit\nCome and connect or reconnect to the land\, culture\, and our ancestors as we put our footsteps on the territory.
