DESCRIPTION:Voting Day is on November 24 \n“Do you support the Okanagan Indian Band collecting property tax revenues from non-members residing on its’ reserves?” Yes or No. \nYou can vote in one of three ways: \n\nIn-Person Voting at HOL\nMail-In Ballot\nOnline Voting\n\nWatch for voting packages arriving in the mail soon. \nThe current ISC procedure for Band elections will be used – the majority of votes will determine the membership’s will. \nIf majority membership who votes vote ‘No’ Council has committed to honouring this vote\, and the issue would be over.\nIf majority membership who votes vote ‘Yes’ the process would take up to a year and a half to be fully implemented.
